Z-Subsea materials and corrosion engineers work closely with Z-Subsea integrity engineers and subsea design and flow assurance team to select most cost-effective yet applicable materials for the subsea systems and the means for protecting them against external and internal corrosion and/or environmental cracking.

Subsea production systems material selection to ISO 21457, NORSOK-M001, API6A, ISO 13628 and other industry recognised codes/standards
Subsea production systems corrosion analysis and protection (Coating and CP) to DNV, NORSOK, ISO and other recognised codes/standards
Subsea production systems sand erosion analysis to DNV RP-O501, API 14E or using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling
Subsea production manufacturing process selection, review and approval (auditing)
Welding and NDT procedures review and approval
Managing detailed mechanical and metallurgical testing program on behalf of our clients
